DEI Staff Ambassador Program

Purpose:
● To promote the acquisition of DEI-related skills
● To build DEI capacity within the staff
● To evaluate a peer-to-peer education model to improve staff knowledge and engagement in anti-racism work

Eligibility:
● All Staff and Supervisors

Application Process:
● Complete a program online application
● Demographic information
● 250-word essay
● Letter of support from Supervisor

Program Process:
● Attend biweekly sessions with ambassadors for 1-3 hours
● Attend monthly Front Porch chat to discuss capstone project
● Participate in a pre/post-program assessment
● Participate in a focus group at the end of the program
● Complete a program evaluation
● Complete a capstone project

Stipend:
● Ambassador will receive a $1,000 stipend which will be paid at the beginning and
completion of the program
● Ambassadors will receive a $50 book stipend
