Grants Management Officer

Frontier Nursing University (FNU) has an immediate opening for a Grants Management Officer. This position coordinates with the Director of Development and Alumni Relations in researching, writing, and submitting federal and private grant applications. This position also manages all recognition, reporting and accountability for grant funding.

Emphasis will be placed on candidates with grant writing experience and proven success. Requirements for the position include a bachelor’s degree, strong writing skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Courier Program Coordinator & Development Officer

Frontier Nursing University (FNU) has an immediate opening for a Courier Program Coordinator/Development Officer to join our team. Applicants should be highly motivated professionals who value making meaningful contributions in a positive team-oriented environment.

The FNU Courier Program is a service learning internship focused on serving rural and underserved communities and distinguished by its legacy and the adventuresome nature of our site placements. Sites include rural health clinics and birth centers in Appalachia - as well as outpost locations across the country. Eight week internships last from June to August each year.

The Courier Program Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the program, which includes operations, training, communications, budgeting, fundraising, program evaluation and refinement and perform key leadership tasks to ensure successful program implementation.  The Courier Program Coordinator is expected to work with the development team in coordinating events, communications and donor relations. particularly with former Couriers, to raise funds to support FNU.  The position should also recruit members to manage and facilitate the involvement of the Courier Advisory Committee.  Learn more about the FNU Courier Program here: http://www.frontier.edu/courier
