Located in the beautiful Treasure Valley of Idaho, Integrative Midwifery and Family Wellness is a full scope women’s health center and freestanding birth center dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based integrative family-centered care. We pride ourselves on providing individualized care with an exceptional team of providers who all have a shared passion for an integrative and functional medicine approaches to health and wellness for the whole family.  Our center offers a tranquil and nurturing environment where women and their families can experience the support and joy of birthing naturally. In addition to our integrative focus on the childbearing year, we recognize the importance of providing comprehensive and integrative primary care to women throughout their lives, promoting their overall health and well-being. We also offer perinatal mental health services, including an integrative approach to psychiatry as well as professional counseling services. Our Family Nurse Practitioner also provides an integrative approach of care for our families, as well as women’s health care.

The mountains and rivers surrounding the Treasure Valley provide a wonderful opportunity for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, hunting, fishing, and dipping into many hot springs, and more, all within an hour of Nampa, Idaho!

Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nurse Midwife you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and holistic care to women of all ages. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive well-woman examinations, including preventive screenings, health assessments, and disease prevention education.
• Providing primary care services, including diagnosing, treating acute and chronic conditions, and managing women's overall health.
• Offering specialized perinatal mental health assessments and support, addressing emotional well-being and providing appropriate referrals when needed.
• Facilitating natural childbirth and providing compassionate support during labor, ensuring a serene and empowering birth environment.
• Collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to offer evidence-based integrative, functional medicine or allopathic medical interventions when necessary.
• Offering postpartum care, including breastfeeding support, newborn assessments, and educational resources for families.
• Counseling and educating women and their families on prenatal care, childbirth, newborn care, family planning, and women's health topics.
• Advocating for women's emotional well-being and providing compassionate guidance throughout the childbirth year and beyond.
• Advocating for women's health and rights through public policy engagement and women's health advocacy initiatives.
