Job Description

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to assist at The Burke County Health Dept. and our Women’s Health Dept.  UNC Health Blue Ridge – Burke County Health Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Licensure Requirements

· Licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife in the State of North Carolina

· Board certification if required by the Department

Professional Experience Requirements:

· At least 5 years+ as a Certified Nurse Midwife is needed

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

·Clinical experience with high-risk pregnancies

 Demonstrated clinical competency.

· Preventive Care

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
