Minnesota Birth Center

Provide full scope midwifery care, including: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, well woman care and contribute to the tasks that keep the birth center running. Care is provided in a freestanding birth center, staffed by Certified Nurse-Midwives. All of MBC’s CNMs will maintain hospital privileges to attend to our families that require a transfer to the hospital setting. There may be a very rare exception to this requirement approved by the CNM team and leadership. TOLAC labors and births are attended at one of our collaborative hospital settings. Well woman care includes screening, exam, contraceptive initiation and management, and risk assessment.

We are seeking candidates interested in working a 0.7-1.0 FTE schedule.
