How does it work?

Submit your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Statement of Benefits to the VA Certifying Official, Rainie Boggs, at rainie.boggs@frontier.edu.

Don’t have a COE? Don’t worry, a VA Educational Specialist can help you, call 1-888-442-4551. Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST. Due to the large number of service members the VA assists, it is suggested to call early in the morning.

Once your COE or Statement of Benefits has been received your enrollment will be certified with the VA during week 3 of the term. It generally takes an additional 3-4 weeks for funds to be received.

If you are receiving Chapter 33 benefits, you will carry an outstanding balance of tuition and fees until VA funds are received. Don’t worry, this is acceptable because we are aware that a pending VA payment is on its way.
However, any amount not paid directly to FNU or not covered by the VA must be paid by the published deadline (the first 15th of each term).

  • Financial Aid - If you choose to utilize financial aid to cover your educational costs, begin the process by completing the required financial aid documents. Once documents are completed, notify Financial Aid Services at financialaid@frontier.edu. Documents must be completed one week prior to your scheduled Frontier/DNP Bound date.
  • Self-pay - Payment is due by the term’s deadline (the first 15th of each term) and can be paid online through Self-Service.

Once your COE or Statement of Benefits is received, It is not necessary to submit anything each term, your course registration is the only thing needed to complete your enrollment certification.
