Biography

Hello, I am Dr. Mandi Lew. I reside primarily in Utah and practice full-scope midwifery at Intermountain Layton. While I no longer work in a rural setting, I have a strong background in rural health, which continues to inform my clinical practice and teaching. My clinical work emphasizes trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care. I truly enjoy my role as Regional Clinical Faculty and course faculty at Frontier Nursing University and plan to continue in this work for many years. I am passionate about educating students in the WHNP/CNM programs and hope to be a strong source of support throughout your journey at Frontier. I am married and have two daughters. My oldest is a junior at University of Wyoming majoring in social work and plans to pursue her master’s degree, potentially at the University of Utah. My youngest is majoring in business administration and is a University of Wyoming cheerleader. We are now fully navigating the empty-nester phase of life. I also have three very spoiled doodles who keep us busy. Welcome to Frontier Nursing University—I look forward to working with you.
