Biography

Dr. Froemke’s professional background includes critical care nursing, neurosurgery, family practice, midwifery and international nursing. She began her teaching career, internationally, almost 30 years ago in Africa. More teaching subsequently followed with Frontier Nursing University in 1993, part of Frontier Nursing Service, where she also served as an FNP with a Faculty Practice. Dr. Froemke has continued her work with FNU as part-time faculty for 18 years and now full-time for over 10 years. Didactic teaching responsibilities were interrupted for 8 years while focusing on an administrative/clinical role as Hospitalist for Mary Breckinridge Hospital under Frontier Nursing Service; and while achieving a doctorate. The role of Course Coordinator for the on-site experience in physical assessment, however, continued uninterrupted for more than 20 years. Currently, she is serving as course faculty. Dr. Froemke now lives in Seaside, Oregon
