Biography
Niessa began her career as a labor and delivery nurse in 2000. After starting a family and gaining experience as an RN she enrolled in the CNEP program at Frontier. She graduated from Frontier in 2009 and worked full-time as a full-scope nurse-midwife in a rural community hospital. Niessa returned to Frontier in 2014 and has worked as a regional clinical faculty, DNP faculty, and now in the CNEP program. She maintains a GYN and hormonal health practice in Kerrville, TX. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three young adult children, and being active in the Texas ACNM Affiliate.
