The Cameron OB/GYN team provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services for women of all ages and stages of life. Leading an entire team of dedicated professionals, our OB/GYN physicians are recognized throughout the region for their experience and expertise.
DEPARTMENT: Cameron OB/GYN
JOB TITLE: Certified Nurse Midwife / Nurse Practitioner (APP)
SHIFT: 80 Hours Bi-Weekly, Days, Ten (10) days of call per month.
BENEFITS: This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
Requirement: Certified Nurse Midwife and Board-Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
Summary/Objective
Provides Medical direction and treatment of patients within the practitioner’s scope of practice and in collaboration with the supervising physician.

Education
Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program
License
Current License in the State of Indiana
Certified/boarded, if applicable, in their specialty or willing to obtain within 2 years of hire
Current DEA certificate without restriction
Must be able to meet Cameron Hospital’s credentialing requirements.
Complete a CAQH and update annually as required.
Essential Functions
Exemplifies good customer service.
Collaborates with Multidisciplinary team in office and hospital to assure continuity of care.
Conducts a comprehensive assessment of patients, interprets medical histories, performs physical examinations, identifies problems, and formulates a plan of treatment per standard of care.
Assess normal and abnormal findings from the patient history, physical examination, laboratory test, and other diagnostic findings.
Documents patient care services in the patient’s EMR, prescribes medications, and discharge instructions in a timely manner.
Works closely with collaborating physician in treating or referring patients with significant abnormal findings.
Participates in process improvement.
Carries out all duties in a manner consistent with Cameron’s guiding principles and values and according to Cameron’s policies and procedures.
Adheres to the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, as appropriate
