Biography
Lindsay DeLeo has more than 15 years of experience in nursing with a focus on women’s health. Prior to nursing, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hofstra University and a master’s degree in physiology at New York Medical College. Currently a nurse practitioner at University of Rochester Gender Wellness, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Lindsay began her nursing career as a registered nurse in 2010 after completing her BSN at University of Rochester, then earned her master’s as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 2017 from Stony Brook University, and master’s in clinical nurse leadership from University of Rochester in 2018. She completed her DNP in 2023 at Frontier Nursing University with a project focused on screening for risk factors and implementing prevention strategies for pregnant clients at risk for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. Lindsay was a clinical instructor of Women’s Health for RN students for 10 years, most recently for University of Rochester’s Accelerated Bachelor’s Program for Non-Nurses, and has been with FNU as DNP clinical faculty since 2024. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, and Nurse Practitioners of Women’s Health.
