Biography
Dr. Gell currently lives in Wilmington, NC, with her fiance, Lee, and three aging, bossy Australian Cattle Dogs. She serves as a Regional Clinical Faculty for the PMHNP department at Frontier Nursing University. She has lived in Maryland, Delaware, South Carolina and North Carolina over her lifetime. Her roots in clinical expertise began with adolescent populations and progressed through Adult Trauma ICU, Trauma level I ED, and Perioperative/OR Nursing for many years. Finally, all of that experience prepared her for the Nurse Educator role, and by chance, she worked with very wonderful and grounded psychiatric nursing instructors who inspired the PMHNP path. She maintains a part-time practice as an outpatient provider and hopes to inspire others who are pursuing this passion.
