Biography

Dr. Clark holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Nursing degree from Frontier Nursing University. She is originally from New York and moved to Virginia while serving as a U.S. Navy Nurse Corps staff nurse. While in the U.S. Navy, she earned the Humanitarian Service Ribbon for her contributions during tsunami relief in Thailand and a Navy Marine Corp Achievement Medal. After completing her master’s in nursing, she joined Eastern Virginia Medical School's OB/GYN department. She has cared for women in maternal-fetal medicine and low-risk OB/GYN. Currently, she works in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology providing gynecological and gender-affirming care. In addition, she has taught at the graduate level for more than six years and precepted graduate-level nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. Dr. Clark loves to garden, explore new restaurants, and travel.
