Dr. Autumn Fuselier practices as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in Central Texas. She serves the community as the first civilian CNM practicing hospital-based midwifery in the county in a growing practice and has continued since starting the practice in 2020. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from The University of Tennessee. She also holds a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) and a master of science in nursing (MSN,) both from Frontier Nursing University. Autumn is active in the Consortium for Texas Certified Nurse Midwives (CTCNM) and serves as the ACNM Texas National Government Affairs Committee representative. She enjoys policy advocacy, research and clinical practice guidelines, and the promotion of access to midwifery care and education to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes. Dr. Fuselier firmly believes that the growth of safe and competent midwifery and women’s health providers is the key to improving maternal outcomes, exemplifying the RCF role. Dr. Fuselier lives in Central Texas with her husband and four children. She enjoys spending time with family and fitness in her spare time.
