Biography
Sarah Obermeyer is a certified nurse midwife practicing full-scope midwifery in Los Angeles CA. Sarah practices midwifery in hospital and community birth settings and brings her desire for holistic practice to the clinical setting.
In her clinical faculty role at Frontier Nursing University, she works with nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner students, supporting their clinical experiences and transition to practice. She is passionate about translating classroom knowledge to excellence in the clinical setting through integrative learning strategies. Sarah has developed curriculum in spiritual formation and care, obstetrics and pharmacology.
Her areas of clinical interest include trauma-informed midwifery care, pharmacology, pregnancy loss and grief, and international midwifery practice.
