Biography
Dr. Settle received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 from Georgia Southwestern State University and practiced as a Registered Nurse for nine years before pursuing her graduate degree. Dr. Settle is a two-time graduate of Frontier Nursing University, earning her MSN in 2014 and her DNP in 2021. She is the Course Coordinator for N400 and also a clinical faculty member in the Midwifery and Women's Health Department. She presently serves on the Curriculum Committee as Co-Chair Elect. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American College of Nurse-Midwives, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her scholarly work has focused on students' psychological safety in the clinical setting.
