Biography
I have been in psychiatric nursing since 1993 and a nurse since 1990. My areas of interest include women's issues and chronic mental illness. I currently work in outpatient private psychiatric practice and, in the past, have served as PMHNP in private practice as well as inpatient state mental hospital for severe and persistent mental illness. I served as adjunct faculty for the University of Kentucky's DNP program. Before that, I was a clinical nurse educator and staff nurse for area psychiatric facilities and undergraduate faculty at community college.
