Katrina is a board member for Mind Body Baby NC, a non-profit organization that strives to educate and support women during the perinatal period. Katrina is also a member of the North Carolina ACNM Legislative Committee. She is a visionary with a passion for patient education, evidence-based practice, holistic care, empowered birthing, birth trauma, breastfeeding, and preventative medicine. The essence of her practice is based upon her belief that birth is intimate, momentous, and transformative, and how a woman navigates her birth establishes the roots from which she grows her family and interacts with the world around her. She is married to her college sweetheart, and enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs.
