Biography
Janet DuBois, DNP, ARNP, FNP, PMHNP, FAANP, FNAP. Dr. DuBois earned her MSN and DNP from the University of South Florida, Tampa. She is board-certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatric/Mental Health and has extensive experience in higher education in MSN and DNP programs. Dr. DuBois is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and has served in leadership positions in various professional organizations, including AANP, the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, and the Manatee County NP Group. Her work in health policy has resulted in significant changes to national and state NP legislation. She is an invited presenter at state, regional, national, and international conferences on professional practice issues, health policy, and education. Dr. DuBois believes in a holistic approach to treatment and an individualized plan for each client, incorporating psychopharmacology and mind/body therapy in her tele-psych practice. She lives in Bradenton, Florida where her three daughters and twin grandchildren reside.
