Biography

Dr. Jacquelyne Bodea has been a registered nurse since 1991. She completed the program of study at Frontier Nursing University when it was the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife in 2003 and a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner the following year. Dr. Bodea completed the requirements of Augusta University to become a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2014. Her project, Recommendations for Competency Evaluation of Skilled Birth Attendants for Midwives for Haiti, was an absolute joy to complete! Dr. Bodea has provided midwifery and women's health care in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and, currently, the Arctic Circle. Dr. Bodea returned to Frontier Nursing University in 2010 as a faculty member and served as the Director of the ADN Bridge Entry Option from February 2016 until the program was phased out in March 2021. Dr. Bodea loves the midwifery philosophy of care and feels very fortunate to teach and mentor new generations of advanced practice nurses!
