Biography
Cynthia (Cindy) Reed, DNP FNP-C is the Regional Clinical Faculty working with students in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Cindy works full time in rural Montana in a Family Practice group serving lifespan care. She has been committed to advancing the nursing model through her nurse leadership and clinical practice over the past 40 years.
After completing her DNP in 2012, Cindy decided that it was time to join an academic team that would support her ability to continue to advance the nurse provider presence in a rural and frontier setting. She has found that at FNU in her collegial relationship with the faculty and with students seeking to advance their professional goals.
In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is active in community organizations and loves outdoor activities.
