Biography
Dr. Thrower has been a practicing midwife in the Atlanta area since 1990. She received her master of nursing in nurse-midwifery from Emory University in 1990 and her Ph.D. in Nursing with a nursing education focus from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University in 2016. She is a Fellow of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and a certified nurse educator. She volunteers at a community clinic where she provides gynecologic care.
