Biography

Dr. Charlotte Morris is a certified nurse midwife who has practiced in the Philadelphia area providing services to low income and minority women. She is committed to the service of others. She has worked as a midwife for over 20 years working in Hospital settings, health district clinics and an out of hospital birth center. She has spent her career advocating for women rights. Dr. Morris believes her call is to educate women mind, body soul and spirit. She has also had the opportunity to teach at Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing for 8 years and as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University in the College of Nursing and Health Professions where she served for 7 years. Her academic educational experience include a Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree from Temple University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Temple University, a Master’s in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. In addition to Dr. Morris professional and academic achievements, she is an active member of the Mount Airy Church of God in Christ where she oversees the health awareness ministry. He life philosophy is : I am called to serve, and I can do all things with Christ who strengths me.
