Biography
Dr. Engstrom is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner and has been a nurse for 50 years. Her clinical experience focused on almost all aspects of women's reproductive health and infant health. She is also a human milk and lactation researcher, and has published 91 papers in peer-reviewed journals and written several book chapters. Dr. Engstrom is a Certified Nurse Educator and Certified Online Educator has taught nurses, nurse-midwives, and nurse practitioners for 44 years and has won numerous teaching awards.
