Biography
Dr. Wagschal (she/her) has been with FNU since 2019, serving as primary RCF for Iowa and Indiana in the CNEP & WHNP tracks. She is a four-time FNU graduate, having completed the CNEP, DNP, WHNP-PGC, and PMHNP-PGC programs. In addition to her RCF position, she works in clinical practice at a federally qualified health center in Davenport, IA, where she provides full-scope sexual and reproductive health care to clients of all ages. One of Dr. Wagschal's clinical interests is LGBT healthcare, which was the focus of her DNP project. She has partnered with a physician colleague to develop and implement the only gender-affirming hormone therapy practice in her home community. In 2022, Dr. Wagschal was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
