Biography
Graduated with a BSN from University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1974 and started my professional nursing in the Army Nurse Corps for almost 10 years. Left the Army and worked at National Institutes of Health for 10 years and then did a stint as a travel nurse to Florida. I've worked in home care both as a staff RN as well as a Case Coordinator. Got my MSN from the University of Maryland at Baltimore as a Community Health Addiction Nurse in 1993. I've worked in Newborn Nurseries and Hospice so my professional RN practice crosses the lifespan. I got my DNP in 2018 from New Mexico State University as well as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
