Biography

Megan Danielson, DNP, CNM has been practicing full-scope midwifery in Southwest Michigan since 2012, and has been Regional Clinical Faculty for the state of Michigan since 2018. She works clinically with Bronson Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Midwifery Specialists in Kalamazoo. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan, received her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale School of Nursing, and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University. Megan previously served as Chair of the American College of Nurse-Midwives’ Healthy Birth Initiative and is active with the Michigan Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She is particularly interested in promoting physiologic birth, working to address health disparities within maternity care, supporting the growth of new midwives, and quality-improvement work.
