Biography

Dr Tseng is a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. She is a graduate of University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Tseng has practiced at a large level II trauma center in consult and liaison role, psychiatric emergency and acute care psychiatric unit. She has also provided care at a substance use disorder clinic and was a volunteer provider at a community health free clinic. She owns her own psychiatric practice. Dr Tseng is an avid historian and has studied of history and literature at Oxford University in their certificate of higher education program. She is a member of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries in London. Her areas of scholarship include historical medical - specifically psychiatric - treatments as well as the use of literature as a primary source for psychiatric perspectives and treatment. Most important however is her role as mother and Grandmother and sweetheart of a wonderful husband - herder of chickens and one stubborn dog. She can often be found dressed for a party in 1780.
