We are hiring for a full-time full scope Certified Nurse Midwife. 

Responsible for the health of both mother and child and refer to obstetricians if there are medical complications. Works in multidisciplinary teams in both hospital and practice settings.

Diagnoses, monitors and examines women during pregnancy. Develops, assesses and evaluates individual programs of care. Provides full antenatal care, including screening tests in the hospital, community and the home. Identifies high risk pregnancies and makes referrals to doctors and other medical specialists. Arranges and provides parenting and health education for the woman, her partner and family members. Supervises and assists mothers in labor, monitoring the condition of the fetus and using knowledge of drugs and pain management. Gives support and advice on the daily care of the baby, including breast feeding, bathing and preparing feeds.
