Celebrating National Nurses Week
As a leader in nurse-midwifery and nurse practitioner education, Frontier Nursing University is especially proud to celebrate National Nurses Week, May 6-12. We are humbled to play a role in the advancement of these professions, which are so vital to women, families, and communities around the world. The essential care and service provided by nurses and nurse-midwives have been particularly apparent over the past year, with the pandemic highlighting our ongoing need for highly skilled and well-trained healthcare professionals. The dedication that nurse practitioners and nurse-midwives have demonstrated during this challenging time in our history has been nothing short of inspiring. FNU is particularly proud of the role our more than 8,000 alumni who serve as certified nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners have played and will continue to play in advancing our mission, with our particular focus on serving those in rural and underserved communities. We celebrate nurses and nurse-midwives every day, but ask that you please join us during National Nurses Week in honoring the contributions and impact of all nurses and nurse-midwives, both past and present. We thank them all for their expertise, commitment, and service.
