Overview
Frontier Nursing University is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy educational and work environment in which no person within the University, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
Sexual harassment, as defined in the Clery Act, sexual violence as defined in the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and sex discrimination are prohibited by Title IX. Title IX also prohibits retaliation against people for making or participating in complaints of sex discrimnation.
Frontier Nursing University’s policies prohibiting sexual harassment and sex-based misconduct are designed to ensure a safe and non-discriminatory educational and work environment and to meet the legal requirements as defined by the U.S. Department of Education.

SUPPORTIVE MEASURES
Supportive measures are designed to ensure equal access to educational programs and activities and eliminate a hostile environment to ensure individuals who are involved in a report of sexual misconduct are safe. Individuals who are accused of violating the policy may also be entitled to support.
Supportive measures include but are not limited to the following:
- Course-related extensions and adjustments
- University-issued and enforced no contact orders
- Work and/or course schedule adjustments
- Leaves of absence
- Increased monitoring of certain areas of the campus
