• Our nationally accredited (CABC) and state-licensed (LDH) freestanding birth center has been open since 2016. Located in Acadiana, we serve mothers within a 2-hour radius, offering joyful, peaceful, and safe birth experiences with our dedicated CPM/CNM midwife team. Our Medical Director and collaborating physicians are right next door, and we are just 90 seconds away from a transferring hospital with Hospitalists and a Level III NICU.

The Position:

• Schedule: Our two-midwife-team works a consistent 2/2/3 schedule that includes 2 clinic days per week, 2 on-call days each week, and taking call every other weekend (Friday-Sunday).
• Training & Support: Skills in-services every 5 weeks, malpractice insurance, collaborative physician, skilled birth assistants, and a dedicated office staff to handle all paperwork outside of direct client care.
• Work-Life Balance: Our goal is for you to be a midwife at work and enjoy your family at home.
• Pay: Get paid while you sleep through the night! Our midwives receive a reasonable base salary + birth fees that includes a 70% for delivering midwife and 30% off-call midwife split of all deliveries within a calendar month. $75,000- $110,000/yr with current volume.

• Midwives must live within 30-minutes of birth center.
