Biography

Dr. Alexandra Peters is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who has been serving communities across Vermont for the past decade. With a strong commitment to health equity, Dr. Peters has focused her clinical work on pediatric care, as well as underserved and rural populations, where access to consistent and comprehensive healthcare is often limited. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Peters has experience teaching nurses and nurse practitioners in the classroom and clinical settings. She is passionate about education and mentorship, helping to shape the next generation of clinicians through evidence-based instruction and real-world insights. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes critical thinking, compassionate care, and lifelong learning. Dr. Peters is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives, continually seeking innovative ways to enhance care delivery, promote health outcomes, and reduce disparities.
