OSF Healthcare - Nurse-Midwife

Responsibilities:
Our midwives help our mother’s experience a natural childbirth, and provide prenatal care, individualized education, hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, breastfeeding and postpartum support. They also provide well-woman visits and care between pregnancies. Our mothers have access to the highest level of acute antepartum and postpartum care in the region.


Join an established team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant individuals, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care at our award-winning birthing centers.

  • Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe
  • and positive birth experiences.
  • Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  • Perform gynecological exams and provide family planning services.
  • Positions are located in the Peoria IL Metro area or scenic Escanaba MI

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification.
  • Active RN license in the State of Illinois.
  • Successful completion of additional didactic training to qualify as a nurse midwife.
