Multi-Factor Authentication Setup

  • OneLogin MFA Setup Instructions for Google Authenticator
    • Be sure to add the Google Authenticator App to your phone. It is free in the App store.

      Initial Navigation:

      1. Navigate to: fnu.onelogin.com/login on your computer
      2. Enter your FNU username on the first screen and your password on the second screen
      3. Go to the upper right-hand corner menu and select Profile > Security Factors.
      4. On the Security Factors page, select Add Factor to add a new authentication factor.
      5. Select Google Authenticator from the dropdown menu.
      6. Open Google Authenticator App on your mobile device.
      7. Tap the + symbol in the bottom right corner and select Scan a QR code.
      8. Scan the barcode presented on-screen with your phone:

      9. Hit Next on your computer.
      10. Input the security code generated by Google Authenticator (do NOT include the space) and click Continue. Remember that the security code is only valid as long as it is displayed. If you type more slowly, it is recommended to wait for the code to change and then begin typing.

      Your registered device will appear under Authentication Devices on the security page, with the attributed credential ID. Your code is valid on this browser for 30 days unless you need to clear browsing data which will make you authenticate again.

       

      • Upon logging in, the user will be prompted for a 6-character security code generated by Google Authenticator. 
      • Enter the Security Code.
      • Click Log In.

       

      And with that, the user will be logged in and their Authenticator MFA successfully configured.

      Initial Navigation:

      1. Navigate to: fnu.onelogin.com/login
      2. Enter your FNU username on the first screen and your password on the second screen
      3. Add your phone number by going to the upper right hand corner menu and select Profile. There you should be able to enter your phone number. Make sure to save changes.


      4. Then click Security Factors on the left navigation menu
      5. In the Security Factors page, select Add Factor to add a new authentication factor.
      6. Select Onelogin SMS from the drop down menu


      7. Click Send Security Code to mobile. OneLogin sends a security code to the mobile number specified earlier. Input the code received into the Security Code field and click Continue.
      8. Your registered device appears under Authentication Devices in the security page. When you log in, upon logging in, you may be prompted for your SMS Security Code depending on the security settings your admin has configured. Your code is sent automatically to your device and is valid for 120 seconds. Enter the security code and click Log In.
